Patterns I plan to make

These are a list of pokemon that I plan to make patterns for.  This list is subject to change depending on wether I complete a pattern, decided to remove a pokemon from the list, or whether I want to add a pokemon to the list.

To start the list off, some patterns I have that are WIPs:

Diglett
Wartortle
Magikarp
Koffing

The rest that I plan to do patterns are:
Pidgey
Clefairy
Clefable
Vileplume
Paras
Growlithe
Abra
Tentacool
Slowpoke
Seel
Krabby
Cubone
Lickitung
Hitmonlee

Small round things are easiest, so I will probably jump at those first! I chose these pokemon based on my skill level and cause I like them cause I think they are cute!  As more people make patterns and use patterns we can all try Frankensteining them together to make more patterns! :)

Bellsprout

Use G hook.

LEAVES:

(make 2)

Do not chain 1 when turning. Be sure to work first stitches in the very last sc made in previous row. This is help to create a much smoother and more filled in edge to the leaves.
F/O leaving long tail. Weave tail down thru center of leaf to other end using yarn needle. If you want a pronounced vein down the center of the leaf, you can backstitch down the center of the leaf instead of weaving it.

Row 1: ch 2, sc in 2nd ch from hook (1)
Row 2: inc (2)
Row 3: inc in each sc (4)
Row 4: inc, sc in next 2 sc, inc (6)

Round 16-20: sc, change to pink in last stitch (18)
Round 21: sc in front loops only
Round 22-24: fasten off.

With black sc 18 in backloops of row 21.  dec 9 times., dec 3 times, fasten off.

Body(Use f hook):

To crochet around body, use brown and ch 2, sc 4. sc around.

Eyes(Use f hook):

Ch 2, sc 4, sl st in first stitch. Fasten off leave tail to sew to the head

Use white yarn to make light catches in eyes by whip stitching them on,

To make the frame for the body I cut about 90 inches of galvanized utility wire-14 gauge.  I used a pair of pliers to bend them into the shape I wanted.  I Bent it in half and had it go through the back of the head.  I then twisted each end into the toes and had them come back around and wrap around the body.  To start crocheting around the body pick an outside toe on either leg and crochet around, then around the body, then just crochet little “socks” and slip them onto the toes and sew them on.  Before you get to the head, push the wire in as deep are you want the sew the body to the head.  This will stabilize it.

Dragonite

Took me a  while to get this up, it went through several edits, but I think it's good to go now.  Hit me up on Deviant Art if you have any questions.  I have no idea how to use this site and you can see that by how weird this pattern is from when I pasted it from its word document :c Help on getting it straightened out would be appreciated.

This pattern uses the G hook.

Fasten off.

Hdc the pieces together.  Using gold on the corner dc, trc, dc.  Sew bottom through back stitches.

Sew all pieces together, tail to body, head to body, feet to legs, nails to feet, legs to body wings to body, etc.  If your under belly does not match with your body and tail this maybe be because of tension, so either add or subtract a few rows to even it out.

I recommend wiring the wings.  The way that I did is that I cut out about 18-20 inches of galvanized utility wire-14 gauge with some pliers.  I then bent them into the shape of the wings with about 3 inches excess on each end.  I placed them in between the wings before sewing the pieces together.  I then stabbed them into the back where I wanted them before I put the head on, and then wrapped the ends of each wing to each other in a link.  Hope that makes sense.

The eyes are made with black and white felt and glued on with fabric glue.  The mouth and nostrils are whip stitched on.

To wire the antennae cut some wire about twice the length of it with about an inch extra on each end.  Bend it in half and insert it into the antenna then attach to head with wire ends and wrap it around.
